Today in red rock country (Arches UT) Beautiful.
We stopped by green river (so named because it’s brown.) I think the early Mormons were color blind… oh wait I remember all that stuff about “Those less valiant in the pre- existence being known to us as Negros,” so I guess they weren’t. Well this was a brown but valiant river.
There was a tiny dog at a pull off, a collar but no tags. He followed us across the road and I figured we had no choice but to adopt. I named him Moab. We were  1 mile from Moab. Then he disappeared, and next thing I knew he was seated next to some big guy in a truck. I was very relieved… and just a tad disappointed.
